what a day well-spent

never have i ever done something so meaningful in my life before. it's really a joy helping those kids with their studies... they're simply a bunch of boisterous boys and girls! talking abt this group of children, it brings back memories of my early childhood. my parents used to think that i was a hopeless boy with no future.. back then, i was a rebellious boy. my studies weren't good at all because i was overly engaged in fun.. haha and i mean it! but look who i am now! a totally different person! haha..
SATURDAY
woke up early today for coaching... after that, i went to cdac to helped out as a mentor to a group of primary school children. it was my first time there. everything is so new to me.. the people and the many children.. many of the mentors are much older than me. haha, i really feel proud to be the youngest mentor there.. i was assigned to a p6 girl for today. she's really an industrious and motivated girl! a self-directed learner i should say.. she's extremely serious in her work. she wouldn't hesitate to ask question whenever she has doubts... after that, due to inclement weather, we had indoor games before calling it a day.. it's been raining alot since the end of march...guess the rainy season has already set in.. met up with my family to shop at northpoint and sembawang shopping centre.. bought another pair of shoes at a resonable price... headed for home after that...indeed an enriching and fulfilling day i have!
